Yes we certainly can! We prepare your new Hennessy Hammock for the first use, so that you can sleep wonderfully without any worries. What we do for you: * Check the hammock and Rainfly and check and tighten all rope and bungee cord knots. * Install and attach SnakeSkins. If you have chosen to order a second set of SnakeSkins for your Rainfly, we will of course do that for you too! * Install larger webbing straps to your hammock. (You can order them separately in our webshop) * Install handy guy line tensioners on your Rainfly. * Adjust open cell foam pad to your favorite lying direction (Right Lay) The foam pad is wider at the torso part and narrower at the foot end. By default, Hennessy Hammock is in a right-lay. You then lie diagonally with your left ear against the outside of the hammock and your right foot on the zipper side. I prefer to sleep with my head on the zipper side, because then I can make delicious coffee without having to get out of my warm sleeping bag. Do you want the zipper next to your head too? We can then turn over the insulating foam pad for you, so that you can immediately dive into your warm hammock! Note 1: when laying in the hammock, if your feet are to the right of the ridgeline, you are in a Right Lay. If your feet are left of the ridgeline, you are in a Left Lay. Note 2: You cannot return the hammock and other used products afterwards, because they have been removed from the original packaging and used. Want to add this extra service to your order? You receive standard a free set of SnakeSkins with all hammock sets. If you want longer Webbing straps, you can order them for only €9.95. The price is the same regardless of the length or width you want to order. The available widths are: 1 (2.54 centimeters), 1.5 (3.81 centimeters) and 2 inches (5.08 centimeters). The available lengths are: 42 (106.68 centimeters), 72 (182.88 centimeters) and 96 inches (243.84 centimeters). Note: Make sure you order the correct width! You can find this in the specs of the hammock in question. If in doubt, please send us a message. We are happy to help you!

If you learn this lashing you'll never have a jammed knot, your ropes will last a long time, and you'll save time. Wrap webbing straps one or more times around the tree and bring loops together in line with the opposite tree. Pass rope ends through webbing loops. Adjust the hammock until it is centered and the ridge line is level and under light tension. Wrap the loose rope end completely around the tensioned support rope and then drop rope end down into the space between the webbing loops and the tree. Tighten any slack in the lashing. Repeat lashing at least three more times in this "figure 8" pattern and tie it off with two half hitches leaving at least 6"/15 cm of rope. Entrance should be at chair height under tension of your weight.

Select the entry style you prefer, either the “Zip (Side entry with Zipper)” or “Classic (Bottom Entry with Velcro)”. ( Fits up to 5’6”, 5’.8”, etc. This usually reduces your choice down to between two and six models. Hennessy Hammocks are amazingly comfortable. If a few more ounces is not a concern, picking a hammock the next size up is even more comfortable. FEATURES Now it’s easy to see the differences. Some have a single layer bottom, some have a double layer bottom to hold a special insulation pad and some have ultralight fabrics and spectra ropes. Think about “What are you going to use it for? Are you heading somewhere tropical or subtropical? Do you need extra insect protection or extra protection from the cold? Is it more important that your hammock be rugged or do you prioritize being lightweight? These factors will all help to determine what is the best hammock for you. The Hennessy Hammock Warranty With proper care, Hennessy's hammocks will last for many years. Their hammocks are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for one year. Damage due to wear and tear can be repaired for a reasonable charge. Check your hammock stuff sack for weight limit and remember that our hammocks are guaranteed for use by one person. Note: we cannot offer warranty protection to hammocks that have after-market modifications such as zippers, rope changes, ridgeline changes or installation of any devices for quick tensioning which can cause damage to the suspending ropes by point-loading. When you receive your hammock When you receive your hammock, please remove it from the package, set it up, inspect it to ensure that it is complete and test it for suitability. Please retain your receipt. If there are any questions, please contact us within 10 days of receipt of your hammock. A trial period of 14 calendar days applies to all your purchases at Dutchbushcraftdad.com. You can return purchased products within this trial period, provided they are complete, unused, undamaged and in original packaging. The shipping costs for returning products are always at the expense of the customer, including Customs. Do you wish to make use of the statutory cooling-off period, or do you want to return your purchase for another reason? Please contact us via the "Contact" page. We will answer your request as soon as possible, and provide you with additional information regarding returns. Almost all products from our store have a warranty period of 1 or 2 years. This means that in the event of a production error, the product will be repaired or replaced by us free of charge.
